FAQ

What is KeraLase?

KeraLase is a laser-assisted hair restoration treatment. A non-ablative laser creates micro-channels in the scalp, then a growth factor serum (KeraFactor) is applied so it can reach the follicles directly.

The laser opens tiny channels in the scalp without damaging surrounding tissue. The serum, packed with growth factors and proteins, absorbs through those channels to stimulate follicles and improve scalp health.

Men and women experiencing thinning or early-stage hair loss who want a needle-free, non-surgical option. It’s also a good choice for clients who prefer to avoid injections.

No. Most clients describe a mild warming sensation. No numbing is needed, and the treatment takes about 20 to 30 minutes.

A typical protocol is six sessions spaced two to four weeks apart, followed by maintenance sessions every few months to sustain results.

Reduced shedding is often the first sign within a couple of months. Visible improvements in thickness and density usually appear after four to six months.

None. You can return to normal activities immediately. Your provider may ask you to avoid washing your hair for a short period after treatment.

Both stimulate follicles, but KeraLase is needle-free and uses a lab-formulated growth factor serum, while PRP uses your own platelets. Many clients combine the two for stronger results.
